Studio Waiver
CoreFlow Studio Liability Waiver and Release
Version 2026-08-12
I understand that Pilates and movement instruction involve physical activity, including strength, balance, flexibility, stretching, and equipment-based exercises. I voluntarily choose to participate, agree to work within my limits, and accept the inherent risks of participation, including injury, illness, property damage, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. I will tell the instructor about injuries, limitations, pregnancy, pain, dizziness, or medical conditions that may affect safe participation. CoreFlow Studio classes are movement education, not medical diagnosis or treatment, and I should consult a qualified medical professional before participating if I have questions about my health. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release CoreFlow Studio, its owner/operator, instructors, staff, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from claims arising from ordinary negligence. This waiver does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Risk
Participation in Pilates classes, private sessions, workshops, events, and related studio activities is voluntary. You understand that movement instruction may include mat work, reformer or equipment-based exercises, resistance, stretching, balance, coordination, hands-on setup, props, and physical exertion.
You accept the inherent and ordinary risks of participation, including muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, contact with equipment or other people, aggravation of prior conditions, illness, personal injury, property damage, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death.
Health, Pregnancy, and Medical Conditions
You represent that you are physically and mentally able to participate safely, or that you have consulted a qualified medical professional before participating. CoreFlow Studio does not provide medical diagnosis, physical therapy, treatment, or individualized medical advice.
You agree to tell the instructor before class if you are pregnant, recently postpartum, recovering from injury or surgery, managing pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, heart concerns, blood pressure concerns, medication effects, or any condition that may affect safe movement.
You agree to stop immediately and notify the instructor if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, chest discomfort, numbness, or any other concerning symptom.
Equipment, Studio Property, and Instructions
Pilates equipment must be used only as instructed. You agree not to adjust, misuse, force, stand on, jump from, or use springs, straps, carriages, props, mats, or other equipment in a way that conflicts with instructor guidance or the equipment's intended use.
You agree to inspect your area and tell the instructor promptly if a spring, strap, carriage, mat, prop, or surrounding condition feels unsafe. CoreFlow Studio provides instructional services and does not manufacture the equipment used in class.
You are responsible for damage to studio equipment or property caused by misuse, reckless conduct, or failure to follow instructions.
Tactile Feedback and Personal Boundaries
Instructors may offer verbal cues, demonstrations, equipment setup assistance, spotting, or tactile feedback to support form and safety. You may decline tactile feedback at any time, before or during class, without penalty.
You are responsible for communicating boundaries, limitations, and discomfort clearly so the instructor can offer appropriate modifications when available.
Release, Indemnification, and Legal Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release CoreFlow Studio, its owner/operator, instructors, staff, contractors, agents, successors, assigns, and facility partners from claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your participation, presence at the studio, use of equipment, or use of studio services, including claims arising from ordinary negligence.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold those released parties harmless from claims, damages, defense costs, attorneys' fees, and expenses arising from your own negligent, reckless, intentional, unsafe, or policy-violating conduct, or from claims brought by a guest or minor participant connected to your account.
This waiver does not release claims that cannot legally be released under applicable law.
Emergency Care, Minors, and Guests
You consent to emergency medical care if studio staff reasonably believe it is necessary. You understand that studio staff are not emergency medical providers and that emergency care may not be available immediately.
Participants under 18 require acceptance by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide additional consent and remains responsible for the minor's participation, conduct, and payment obligations.
Guests and first-time visitors may be required to create an account, provide contact details, and accept current waiver and policy terms before participating.
Personal Belongings, Images, and Security
You are responsible for personal belongings. CoreFlow Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items except where liability cannot legally be limited.
For safety, security, training, or promotional purposes, the studio may use security cameras or capture photos/video only as permitted by studio policy and applicable law. Clients may not record instructors or other clients without permission.
Continuing Agreement and Updates
This waiver applies to current and future participation in CoreFlow Studio services unless replaced by a newer version. If the waiver is updated, you may be asked to review and accept the current version before booking or purchasing.
By accepting this waiver electronically, you agree that your checkbox, click, account record, timestamp, IP address, and user agent may be used to show acceptance, similar to a handwritten signature where permitted by law.
